Welcoming and friendly owner. She was extremely helpful and kind, especially when we encountered difficulties during our stay, including a period in hospital for one of us. The Szarotka has bags of character, and is an interesting place to stay with many historical artifacts relevant to Zakopane. These give you a real impression of the past development of the area. Good value for money. Excellent food provided. Situated in a quiet wooded area of Zakopane, but with easy access to the centre on foot. Highly recommended.

Location: the hotel was short walk to city center, the Tatra National Park, and the forest. Popped in Stek Chalupa for shots before sleep, it was not very far from the venue...

amazing stay in zakopane, exceeded expectations on valentine's day. family-owned hotel with friendly, informative staff. clean rooms, tasty breakfast, and great hiking advice. definitely recommend!

the location was ideal and excellent - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. There were a laptop-sized safe, a sofa bed, and central heating in our double room, liked it. 3. the mountain view was a good bonus.

Great location near forest paths and town center shortcut. Friendly and helpful owner with good English. Excellent value for money. Lovely charm and quiet location. Delicious breakfast and coffee, with biscuits provided in the evening.

Great location near popular hiking trails and close to the city center. Helpful and friendly staff who provided valuable information about nearby trails and arranged a taxi for us. Clean and stylish rooms with all necessary amenities.
Rooms were smaller than expected and not as depicted in the pictures, especially for tall people. Breakfast was served late, which was inconvenient for those without transportation.
